Where can I view Menus & Pricing

Since we have different venues and many food options, it is not possible to publish all of our menus. However, If you call, email or complete the "Contact Us" form and provide us some details regarding your event, we would be happy to forward along the appropriate menus & pricing for your review!

May we rent the space and bring in outside food or cater from elsewhere?

No. A Taste of Honey is the exclusive caterer of Nansen Park and all food and beverage packages must be purchased through us.

Can I bring Alcohol for a party?

 No. A Taste of Honey is the exclusive caterer of Nansen Park and all food and beverage packages must be purchased through us. We offer multiple beverage packages so you can pick the one perfect for your event.

Can I have a Candy Table?

Of course! Candy Tables are super fun and always a hit. You are welcome to do the candy table yourself or through a vendor. 

Can we provide our own cake/dessert?

All of our packages include Coffee, Tea & Cake. However, if you would like a special cake or dessert, you are welcome to bring one.

Can we have a Bounce House/Petting Zoo/Dunk Tank?

If your event is taking place in our outdoor picnic grounds / pavilion, You are welcome to have a Bounce House, Petting Zoo or Dunk Tank. We have vendors that we recommend, however you can use any provider you like as long they have:

-Insurance (Certificate must be Provided)

-Own Power (Generator) We do not have outlets for use in the park

May I bring my dog or pet to the park?

Even though we are animal lovers, the entire property is considered part of the restaurant. Therefore regulations prohibit any animals from being on property. The only exception is for approved service animals.

Do you offer food tastings?

Of course. Food tastings can be arranged at your convenience. In some cases a small fee may apply, but not to worry we will credit the fee back to you if you decide to book with us!

Can you provide just alcohol for my off-premise event?

No. The New York State Liquor Authority requires that we submit a catering service menu to compliment any alcohol service we provide off premise. 

Do you have parking?

Yes! We have plenty of spaces to accommodate your guests.

May I come early to decorate?

Yes. Under most circumstances you can access the room 90 minutes prior to your event to decorate. If more time is needed, you must consult with a member of our staff. 

Can your staff assist with decorating?

If you need brief assistance, our staff members are always here to help. However, if you need assistance that will take time away from the staff performing their normal duties it can present a challenge. We do have several staff members that enjoy decorating and can arrive early to assist you for a small fee.

How far in advance should I book?

Great question! It is never too soon to book. Popular weekends such as Communion (Early May), High School Graduation (Late June) and High Wedding Season (May, June, September & October) fill up fast. Its common for some dates to be reserved over a year in advance, so don't hesitate!

How much of a deposit is required?

Most parties require a $300.00 deposit to  secure the date and venue. However, Weddings and large scale events will require $1000.00 to secure the date and venue.

Can you hold dates?

Unfortunately we only guarantee dates secured by a deposit.
